Hello!
Thank you so much for visiting my site!
A little bit about me . . . I am a passionate clinical social worker and advocate for at-risk and vulnerable populations. My practice frequently explores healing at the intersection of art making and storytelling.
As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), I bring a cognitive-focused, strengths-based approach to therapy, grounded in the belief that each individual holds the inner resources needed for growth, healing, and transformation. Drawing from an eclectic mix of evidence-based practices, I tailor sessions to meet the unique and diverse needs of my clients with compassion and care.
When appropriate and with client consent, I incorporate expressive arts into both individual and group therapy sessions. This creative integration allows clients to explore emotions, identity, and healing through visual expression, and other creative modalities—especially valuable for those who may find traditional talk therapy limiting. I believe in the power of art as a bridge to deeper insight and self-awareness.
I specialize in working with individuals (adolescents, adults, and elders) navigating ADHD, depression, anxiety, and life transitions, including grief and loss — whether through the death of a loved one or the complexities of ambiguous loss, as well as clients managing career changes or job loss. Whether in one-on-one or group settings, my approach is collaborative, empowering, and deeply client-centered.
My aim is to provide a supportive, inclusive space where healing is not only possible—but also meaningful, creative, and transformative.
In addition to private practice, I am experienced working in community, inpatient, and forensic settings. I am dual-licensed in the state of Washington and California.
I work with individuals, with couples, and with groups. Clientele range in age from 16 to adult. *My work with minors will commence August 2025, and is limited to in-person sessions from my office located on Bainbridge Island, Washington.
